The Blood of Dawnwalker has forty-six achievements on PC and Xbox. PlayStation shows forty-seven, and the extra one is the platinum trophy, which the other platforms do not have. Any higher number you see is counting something other than what shipped.
Twenty-three of them have a hard number attached
Most achievements are events: reach a place, finish a quest, pick an ending. Twenty-three are counters instead, and a counter is something you can fall behind on without noticing.
The large ones are Miser at 5,000, then Smuggler and Shadow Roamer at 1,000 each. Those three are volume, so they are decided by habit over thirty days rather than by a session of effort at the end.
The mid-sized counters
To the Gills wants thirteen. Bird's-eye View wants eleven. Balanced Diet wants ten. Throne of Thorns wants nine. Delivery Delay wants eight.
Then a run of fives: Barber, Capture the Flag, Good Will, Sticky Hands, Untouchable and The Tsarina's Favorite Human. Absolutely Insatiable wants three. Several more want one, which makes them events wearing a counter.
Three counters match something you can count
Bird's-eye View wants eleven, and there are exactly eleven scouting towers in the valley. So that achievement is the full set, and it needs the vrakhir form, since no tower can be climbed as a human.
Capture the Flag wants five, and there are exactly five of Brencis's flags on the map. Also the full set. Good Will wants five restored shrines and there are twenty destroyed ones, so that is the rare counter with slack in it: you can miss three quarters of them and still finish.
Throne of Thorns is the court one
Its counter tracks the court's alert level and triggers at nine, which is the same number as the confirmed Edicts. Whether those two nines are the same ladder is a reasonable read and not a proven one.
Either way it is the achievement that rewards making yourself a problem, which puts it in direct tension with a quiet run. Decide which of those you are doing before day twenty.
You do not need more than one run
The endings look like they demand several playthroughs and they do not. Keep a save from before the final quest, take one ending, then reload and take another. The game gives you fifty-four save slots, which is generous enough that this is a plan rather than a trick.
That is worth knowing on day one, because it removes the temptation to plan a thirty day run around collecting endings instead of around the story you actually want.
