Sensing that the Fox had ill intentions towards him, as soon as he saw the knave turning around, the Tortoise immediately hid in his shell. The Fox broke one of its fangs on the thick carapace. ‘Damn you!’, he growled in pain. ‘You think your shell will stop me? Just wait, you fool!’
The Fox tried and tried to break the Tortoise’s shell, jumping this way and that, but to no avail. Finally, dead tired, he gave up and lay down next to the hidden Tortoise, breathing heavily. And at this moment, the Tortoise suddenly emerged from his shell and quickly snapped at the Fox, biting his neck. That was the end of the cunning Fox and his tricks.
And so, oh valiant knight, you should be like the Tortoise. Don heavy armour and let your enemies dance around you, trying to penetrate your protection. Be patient. And when they grow tired, strike them down.
