A new warden has been appointed to oversee the prison, following the demise of Boyar Bakir. Thus far, the man shows little of his predecessor’s enthusiasm for interrogation and rack-work, but it’s no great surprise.
The late boyar’s dedication to the art of inflicting pain was quite remarkable in its own grotesque way. Since his absence, the dungeons have become disappointingly silent. However, given our current intentions regarding the prisoners, this matter does not require further attention.
