How the game itself explains this system.

Omniblock and Attacks consume Stamina.

When you run out of Stamina, you become Fatigued, which makes your attacks slower and less effective.

What the game tells you while you play

  • Enemies can attack from the same directions as you: left, right, top, or bottom. When changes to, it's time for you to block.

    Hold Block to block incoming attacks from all directions.

    Each attack you block this way consumes your Stamina.

  • You ran out of Stamina and became Fatigued, which makes your attacks slower and less effective.

    Actions like Omniblock / Attack / Sprint consume Stamina.

  • Omniblock is easy to perform but costs stamina.

  • Shadowstepping onto a flat wall or ceiling allows you to walk on it. Walking while in Planeshift consumes Stamina.

  • You can Block attacks from four directions: left, right, top, or bottom.

    Successful Directional Blocks don't consume stamina.
