Liyan,
I’m writing to let you know that I won’t be needing your guide services anymore. I’ve had it with skulking through the caves searching for kobold droppings, and I know you have clients out there that pay better for your assistance.
Whichever god made that disgusting bile necessary for Tinko’s medicine, I curse their name. But I’ve found a way to lure a kobold out into the forest, where I will trap it and harvest the stuff on my territory without risking your or my life. It will work, I just need to wait for dusk, so I’m biding my time.
I hope this letter finds you well. Do drop by for a meal sometime. I very much enjoyed our conversations, just not the ambience.
