At first, the aether will come as it pleases, in a slow rhythm, like a calm sea lapping at the beach. But a skilled practitioner of the arcane can demand more of it, agitate it, pull at it. Soon, the aether will flow like a mountain stream, babbling and splashing. But be aware: he who drinks too greedily may choke to his death.
