Sir,
I’m writing to inform you on the results of our investigation regarding the recent prison break. We came across multiple signs of struggle, indicating that our men were overwhelmed in a direct attack. The cells were empty of prisoners – with the exception of a single body, belonging to one Branko of Maragir. The man was our informer and was likely identified as such by the other inmates and thus left behind. His corpse carried no wounds, suggesting he died either of thirst or hunger. The whereabouts of the fugitives, and the identity of the attacker, remain unknown, but we shan’t rest until justice is served.
