Once again, I’m writing to you regarding the alarming reports about an unknown vrakhir prowling the streets of Svartrau. I know that at first it was they were to be treated as gossip, as it is unfathomable that our Knyaz wouldn’t notice another of his kind operating in the city, but it seems that it might be true after all.
As you recall, one of my best men, Nish, said that he did indeed see some unusual woman skulking in the shadows, following him at night. Nish is an uriash, so I trust his words – after all, most of his kind don’t tend to make things up.
And now he’s gone missing. He was last seen patrolling the streets near the northeastern city wall. I ask you to allow me to return to Svartrau and go look for him immediately. We don’t leave our men behind – even if they’re not really men.
