Looking For a Weakness, part 1

There is always a weakness. My father, God rest his soul, used to say that there was no man on earth that couldn't be defeated – be it in combat or through some less conventional means. In this world, where in order to achieve anything one must make enemies, it is worth remembering that none of those who oppose us are without a weakness, no matter how pertinacious they might seem in their pursuit to hobble our efforts. True, their prowess with a sword, their silvery tongue or their political acumen might give them a grand position. But you know what they say – the taller they are, the harder they fall.
