I'm leaving this message in the hope that whoever finds it will continue my efforts, should I be apprehended, as is increasingly likely.
My name is Dawid Breslauer. I chose Vale Sangora as my home and seeing it fall into the hands of a monster brings me great pain. And of all the horrors Brencis unleashed upon this valley, his efforts to present himself as some sort of a messiah offend me the most. Our days walking this Earth are numbered, but our souls are eternal and we shan't let them be tarnished by his blasphemies.
I do not share the faith of my neighbours, but I have deep respect for it. I cannot – and will not – stand by idly as the vrakhiri destroy the holy shrines.
Therefore, I took it upon myself to hide the remaining statues before they're hacked to pieces, too, like other pictures of saints.
When the time is right, find them and return them to where they belong. This will signal to the people of Vale Sangora that the rule of the tyrant is being challenged, and inspire them to do likewise.
