We can’t win this fight alone. The vrakhiri are simply too powerful, and they sway the loyalty of too many people. We must look for help outside.
Take Alexandru and Dimitrie with you – they’re trustworthy and smart lads – as well as this pouch of money I’m leaving with the note. Then bribe the guards, and do what you can to get out. Try going through the mountains. Maybe sneak into a merchant cart leaving the valley, I believe some still do that. I can’t hand you a perfect solution to this problem – but I believe you’re enterprising enough to manage it.
And when you’re out, look for help. Tell people what’s happening in the valley. Someone is bound to offer help.
