Hitting Where It Hurts, part 2

Part 2 of the Stinging Blade manual.

There are many more places on our bodies that can be hit to deadly effect. Any part of the head makes for an obvious target – cutting the throat or the neck artery means instant death in most cases. Slashing through someone’s forehead leads to profuse bleeding, which may not do much harm, but it will surely blind the enemy.

But there are a few less prominent areas. Deep slashes around the chest and shoulders will cause not only quite a bit of blood loss, but weaken the opponent in a matter of seconds. There is also an artery just below one’s armpit. Hit that hard enough and a person will be dead within half a minute. In other words, learn as much as you can about how our bodies work. And always fight smart – look for openings and target vital points. Striking at them successfully will quickly dispatch your foes.
