I regret to inform that, despite my efforts, the killer's identity remains unknown.
This is what I've come to know so far: all eleven victims died during the night and they all lost most of their blood, which was not to be found anywhere near the bodies. They all had many bite marks, mainly on their necks and wrists. One victim had his neck snapped, as well. If I were to guess, I'd say the culprit was an animal, except there's no animal capable of killing grown men and women in such a gruesome manner.
I will continue questioning the victims's families and hopefully, with God's help, find out more about the murders. Meanwhile, I'd recommend for this letter to be passed on to the Master of the Hunt, so that he is fully aware of my findings. He should then explore the local caves and woods – perhaps he will be able to find the lair of a beast capable of such horrible acts. I'd also advise Your Majesty's subjects to avoid leaving their houses at night at all cost – until the matter is resolved.
