“The day was ours. As Miloslav predicted, the Tatars hadn't expected us to attack so directly. We rushed into them as they were forming their ranks and sent them into chaos – in fact, we were able to use the momentum to knock many of them to the ground. They never got up again. We survived, all thanks to a reckless idea. Still, God has a weird sense of humour – we only lost one man in this skirmish. Miloslav. May he rest in peace.”
