I got to the ruins. The hike wasn’t as bad as I thought. And you were right – the place must be a few hundred years old. Must’ve already been in decay when the Boarescus were still in power.
Still, you were wrong about the riches we were supposed to find here. There’s only stone walls and some skeletons to keep me company. But maybe my trek here was not in vain – I spotted a small canyon below, west of the ruins. I think it ends with a cave. I’ll go and check it, people use those to hide valuables from time to time.
Leaving this note behind, just in case it turns out that there’s a bear living down there. I trust one of those skeletal fellows to keep it safe for you if you ever come to this place.
