The Lunar Game

I was approached by an odd man named Farkas. He claims to be Bakir's servant and that he could help me slay his master.

Objectives

  1. 1

    Meet with Farkas

Farkas wants to meet me near the Lunar Manor to lay out his plan.

  2. 2

    Keep yourself busy until dusk

The Lunar Tournament begins after sundown. I should figure out some useful ways to pass the time till then.

  3. 3

(Optional) Talk to the other contestants

Other contestants may have something interesting to say about themselves. Or about Bakir.

  4. 4

(Optional) Find a way to undermine your rivals

I don’t want to kill the other contestants, but maybe there’s a way to weaken them a bit.

  5. 5

    (Optional) Search for poison

I could taint the wine barrel, but I need to find some poison first.

  6. 6

    (Optional) Poison the liquor

I could poison the wine barrel with this herb to weaken some of the other contestants.

  7. 7

Navigate the maze and reach the willow tree

I must win the Lunar Game to get closer to Bakir, while holding back my vrakhiri powers. Or he'll see through me.

  8. 8

Find a way to open the gate

The path ahead is blocked by a gate. I don’t see any keyhole, so there must be another way to open it.

  9. 9

    Examine the box

There's this box in the middle of the square – part of Bakir's sick games, I bet.

  10. 10

    Retrieve the coin

In order to win the Lunar Game, I have to cut a coin from this man's stomach. But should I really do it...?

  11. 11

    Defeat Bakir

I have him exactly where I wanted. Now, only one more thing – Bakir must die.

  12. 12

    Leave the vault

Bakir is dead. I should leave this place – by the back door, or through the front gate if I want to deal with his entourage as well.

  13. 13

Find the ring with a purple gem

Farkas has asked me to help him find his family heirloom – the amethyst ring.

The journal's own order. It is the order the game hands them to you, which is not always the order you can do them in.

How it can end · 3

The journal records 3 ways this quest can finish. Each one is written after the fact, so each one gives away what you did.

What you get

XP in 6 awards: 150, 75, 500, 75, 75, 75. 400 coin, 1 Skill Point.

The game pays these out separately. Some quests award them one after another, and some award one instead of another, so they are shown as the game stores them rather than added together.

What you read along the way

The game files these under this quest's own code. Where that code covers several journal entries, a document listed here may belong to one of the others in the thread below.
