The final steps
Once the brew is ready, it can sit safely for days before use. Animals won’t take an interest in it, and the concoction will be preserved – with one caveat: the salamander skins must be added right before the ritual is started.
For the mixture to affect all of the imbiber’s blood, a full bowl must be consumed; otherwise, the poison will not saturate the blood to a sufficient degree (yet still cause harm to the imbiber).
Consume in two parts – first, before the ritual begins, to initiate blood binding. Afterwards, commence the ritual by activating the pillars with a Breach the Veil hex and the following incantations:
Haec flamma – non ignis mundans, sed ardor dirus
Haec flamma – umbras vocat, umbras ducit
Haec flamma – sanguinem flagitat, sanguinem devorat
Haec flamma – mortem parit, mortem portat
Haec flamma imperat
Once all are alight, the subject must ingest the remaining half of the concoction.
