We’ve been able to raid and destroy a manumit camp in the nearby forest. Tried to capture at least one of them, but I have to give it to them – they fought like devils and all died in combat.
I lost three of my own men. With the casualties from the last week, my unit is now only at half strength. I need more soldiers if I’m to hold this area and clear out any other rebels.
